The hubris and sense of entitlement shown by Hird is breathtaking. I wonder if WADA would have appealed the decision if Essendon had the balls to get rid of him. It is untenable for one of the main architects of the scheme to remain as coach. unlike some on this forum I do feel for the players - they were entitled to believe that their Club would be acting within acceptable standards and weren't in a position of power to question what was being done. It's quite clear Dunn is struggling with having to take the second tall - like Tippett. Taking McDonald away from the backline would leave us seriously exposed, especially next week with Roughnut, McEvoy, Gunston etc. Frost needs to be fast tracked as a key position back as soon as he recovers from his current injury. Watching Fitz on Saturday I really doubt he has the ability to step up to the next level.
