The clubs strategy with the sub mystifies me. Thank God it will be gone next year by all accounts. It's a blight on the competition.

Each re-signing shows faith in the Clubs direction. Sends good messages of stability to other young players eg Brayshaw and Hogan. I still think Toump can turn it around and see his career take off.

Grimes has been all class the way he has firstly accepted his time in the seconds and then fought back to a point where he will probably retain his place. I can't understand the criticism of his recent form - especially last week where he was easily amongst our best. His disposal efficiency is actually quite respectable but the odd clanger sticks in the mind and devalues his overall game. Would love to see Jack and Trenners become regulars again, they still have a lot to offer.

They don't get injured. Best advice I ever got is " 90% of success is turning up "

A true club legend. Probably will make the 300 which will be a great effort. Love his commitment, durability and consistency. His performances have been under rated because he has had to do it alone. There has been no one else in the midfield to support him and he takes the hardest tag each week. Hopefully the improvement in Tyson, Vanders, Brayshaw, ANB, Petracca, Viney and the reappearance of Trenners will free him up to play with the flair that he is capable of. Congratulations Chunk you are a star.

This is the first time I have uttered a word in criticism of Roos but I think it is a bit rich to turn on the supporter base in the light of the performance against Carlton. He stands alone in not condemning the attitude and application of the players. All commentators were rightly disparaging of our efforts. Unfortunately I don't like the way this is shaping up. The supporters who still remain deserve better than what was on offer on Sunday and I can't see what is to be gained by alienating the heart and soul of the club.

Sorry to hear about your year from hell - Liam's injury, redundancy and the Dees pathetic recent form. Hopefully all will be upwards from here. Sounds like Liam is in good hands. There's no point rushing a decision that will have long term consequences at his age. How is he coping with it and is his club including him and making him feel a part of the teams success? That's the key I believe. Thanks for the update and many on this forum will be sending positive thoughts your way.

Still can't understand the anti - Grimes movement. Thought he was good yesterday and his form has been improving by the week. Can't blame him for yesterday.
