Disagree. From what I hear around the club the playing group is very close and want to stay the distance with each other hence the number of good recent re-signings. The list is still not up to scratch and until some depth is achieved there is going to be a lot of inconsistency in performance. Guess I prefer to see the glass as half full despite unacceptable performances such as occurred on Sunday. Still rate our chances against Carlton and GWS which would be 8 wins for the season - a reasonable return for our stage of development -

Eade lost the players as he always ends up doing. Roos first priority was to restore the psyche of the club and I believe he is succeeding, as evidenced by the re-signings of some important players. He has established a great football dept and put a succession plan in place to create some stability. The recruiting has been first class and we probably will end up with 7 - 8 wins this year. Not a bad 18 months work IMO. -
That running goal of Fitz was amazing for a man his size. He certainly is a tease, doing stuff that excites and then decides to play tunnel ball.

Not Matts finest work. Phrases like that are reds rags to supporters after a loss like that. He has got a hard job trying to be a spin doctor for a team such as ours. Sometime it's better just to say nothing.

The man is already a legend of the club - 3 best and fairest, never injured, kicks crucial captains goals, great mentor to young mids, always at the bottom of a pack. Give him the respect he deserves.

Changing coaches is the last thing we need. We may well end up with 8 wins given Carlton and GWS are coming up. Most of us would have taken that at the start of the season. -
Would rather have Salem and Grimes off half back. Cross has been good this year but I think he is getting slower by the week. Probably should call it quits at seasons end.

The umpiring was disgusting but the fact remains if you're at the ball first the frees will go your way. The Dogs wanted it more and were rewarded, often unfairly.

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 20

Who else is there?

Raises the question why we recruited him in the first place then.

Salem is first in line to come into the backline, hopefully for Lumumba. Look forward to White next year after another preseason

Against my nature I'll concentrate on the positives: McDonald - back to his best despite a couple of classic turnovers Jack Watts - playing with more aggression and getting more of the ball. Still has jaw dropping brain fades. Viv Michie - looked a player for the first time this year James Harmes - plays with energy and aggression and has some toe. Hogan - 3 goals out of 8 with few opportunities. Nuff said ANB - didn't have a huge game but showed enough. There were plenty of negatives and most are self evident but I can't help but give a special mention to Lumumba. Whatever he had has gone and has become a horrible, horrible player. The Prince of turnovers.

Do we know that Tyson is fit for a return?

I would hit the absinthe pretty heavily if I were you

Credit for that quarter but why the fark do they always go missing in the first quarter. Surprisingly this could be a turning point for the club if they have a good final term - shows they can play decent attacking footy when their heads are in the right space.

Jetta - neck injury
-
Tom McDonald has been very, very good as has Grimes since coming on
-
I have never criticised Michie - get your facts right. I reserve my venom for Lumumba, M Jones and Bail
-
I'll repeat Michie has been good.
-
Michie has been OK
