  1. The kind of original and quality content one can expect when you make an illiterate drunkard your chief football writer.
  2. If we win this, the lid is going to explode off the bandwagon!
  3. just watch the final quarter four times
  4. Are you assuming that these conversations haven't been had at various times over the journey? The whole point of footy is to sing the song after with your team mates. It doesn't come at the expense of serious self critique.
  5. I love that we have been winning convincingly while some of our best players have struggled at different times. Oppo coaches are putting excess time into negating Clarrie, petracca, May, TMac (in form), and yet players like Hunt, ANB, Jordon and Sparky-pants have stepped up at times when it was needed. None of our wins this year have had the same 'Best on' list. That is a fantastic sign and may it long continue. Oh, and Kozzie. I [censored] love him.
  6. My favourite moment also. To those who want to 'temper' celebrations and not get over-excited: You do you. I've spent enough weeks in past years being miserable only a few weeks into the season, I'm bloody well gonna enjoy the wins.
  7. It is still only March 31 here fellas
  8. This was exactly whwn and how I watched it. Worked beautifully. Love the optimism, go Dees
  9. User name checks out. Pretty sure his reasons have always been to bring a spotlight on systemic racism. It doesn't have to make him or anybody else happy to be an important goal.
  10. Sounds like you are someone who 'does their own research'. Can I suggest looking up 'ad hominem' and why it is a fallacious approach to take when making an argument? There is also nothing wrong or weak about taking a critical lens to your thoughts and opinions and interrogating yourself about them. Give it a crack, someday.
  11. Deespicable, finding the keys and igniting the engine of my passion for 2021. Thank you!
  12. Life is what you make it.
  13. I have only one thing to contribute to this discussion... Oooooooooooooooooooooozzzzzze
  14. Yea, mate, this is an MFC forum. Literally everybody here is disappointed. Doesn’t excuse spouting off with rude hyperbole and it doesn’t give in depth meaning to grand, sweeping statements. Temperance, fella. P.S Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooze
  15. Agree! Bargain-basement, big Ben Brown booting bags. Beautiful.
  16. Cheers. I have always liked the look of him, but it is a good point that he needs it delivered on a platter. That takes skill, which we do not have.
  17. Ben Brown apparently being pushed out by the Roos
  18. Great post. The faux outrage does my head in, especially since we all have struggles going on at the moment. May wisdom prevail
  19. Yep. I really like him. Has a bit of that Cam Pedersenesque spirit to him, will play beyond the expectations of his talent. Also seems to know that a footy bounces in an odd fashion, and gets himself to the right spots.
  20. Surely we would look at Ben Brown. I know he is goofy and had a rubbish year, but the bloke is an old-school lead/mark forward. Precisely what we need, along with another rebounding defender IMO. I would have said another winger too, but I thought Baker showed enough to have another go around.
