Where?

Pies getting rolled, umpires must be having another shocker.

Interested to know if TJs in Krabi is any good if you get there. Reviews are pretty good but I haven't spent a great deal of time in Krabi.

For matches between 2015 and whatever round I got this earlier this year Melbourne Umpire Matches Wins Win % STEPHENS,A 7 3 42.9% MITCHELL,A 6 2 33.3% ROSEBURY,B 3 1 33.3% West Coast Umpire Matches Wins Win % ROSEBURY,B 8 4 50.0% STEPHENS,A 5 3 60.0% MITCHELL,A 3 3 100.0%

I got my hands on some data earlier this season and these are the win/loss numbers for these umpires. No Nicholls, no Pannell, but still not so good.

We have Rosebury, Stephens and Mitchell http://aflua.com.au/wp-content/uploads/Round-14-2017-revised.pdf

Agreed, out of my range also.

No worries. We could be anywhere. FWIW, the mrs is the assistant manager at a place called The Cove (shameless plug)
-
Home base is a farm about 5/6 hours drive east. The mrs felt like doing some work so we've ended up in Phuket for the last year, but looking around again for something else now. At least until we decide to go back and get serious about the farm.

Living in Phuket, have plenty of stories SWYL, but the Bali satay info is courtesy of the ABC http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-06-19/evidence-shows-dogs-in-bali-brutally-killed-meat-sold-tourists/8620128

Stay away from the satay "chicken"

That's all he does. I find it amazing that most weeks opposition teams just let him get away with it.
-
We'll beat them next week. Makes for a great Friday night game.

Take that you salary cap rorting, drug cheating, dodgy player compensating, data hiding, arse covering, Mark Neeld hiring, feminist impersonating [censored] of a club!!!! Did I miss anything?

Does this mean we're trading him to Collingwood?

Isn't the whole idea of suspensions etc to prevent future issues/injuries. The fact that Danger was ok is completely irrelevant for mine. Basically it leads to split second decisions where a player won't think twice as nobody has been suspended for that action. If the contact leads to a broken neck the player has that on his conscience for the rest of his life when it should have been made quite clear by the MRP that the actions are unacceptable, regardless of the outcome. The MRP and even AFL are seriously missing the point to all this. Does anyone working within the AFL actually have an education?

No problem at all.

Love it. Had my doubts about Buggy, but he's shown he's up for the challenge. Move over Ballantyne, I reckon Bugg's grown the biggest set of pesticles in the league.

He was definitely gifted the games last time round, and IMO was picked for 2 games too many. I was just as angry as the dill that wrote the letter, but to do it is quite pathetic. He wasn't performing and there were clearly others ahead of him, but that's uncalled for. This current FD have been almost bang on with the list so far (Hannan as the prime example) and they clearly rate him so I'm happy to give him more time. Like WB says though, who does he nudge out? Same with Wags. Those 2 on current form are clearly above VFL but who comes out? Tough for JKH when it looks like he needs midfield minutes, he's way down the list in that area, and ends up getting a gig as a small FWD. Let's see what happens over the next few 6 day stretches, they'll probably both get a chance at some stage.

Apologies WB, was taking the proverbial.....

I tell you what, if JKH can keep this form up and not get picked I may have to send a little letter to one S. Goodwin.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
FireInTheBennelly replied to DemonLad5's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think it's safe to assume he's re-signed -
What a thoroughly disappointing end to that game. It's way more entertaining watching the tigers lose to a kick after the siren.

The Lightweight who is Eddie McGuire

Lightweight? I'm thinking more like fat [censored]! -
Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
FireInTheBennelly replied to stevethemanjordan's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just wondering - and ignoring any trade scenarios for a second, how much was H on, and would that (possibly x CBA increase %) be enough to secure a young up and comer like Lever? I'd have thought he was on decent coin (???) so trying to get a gauge on what that might be worth in terms of players. If there's a decent enough free agent it's almost like a free hit, but if we can turn that into a May or Lever it's a bit of a no brainer.
