Agree with a couple of others - Verrell and Adams both look to have the goods. We’ve seen others (Dunstan, Schache) at AFL level and they haven’t delivered. After seeing Grundy last night I’m happy to see him traded. But it’s a risk. Just saying.

Currently watching Casey. Nearly half time. Have yet to see either Schache or TMac touch the ball. Trade Grundy by all means but pray Max doesn’t get injured. There is no back up.

Agree if Grundy was anything but a ruckman. We can cover every other position on the ground. For the games that Max missed who would have rucked?

How is it up to him? There is a contract in place. If we want him, we keep him. We need him. If Gawn was to go down (again) who have we got? JvR no. TMac useless as a ruckman. No one at Casey.

More and more throws/hand offs creeping into our game. Players seem to know when the umpire is unsighted.

I thought Josh came across as a pretty good operator in his time with us. Conversely, the longer Dodo stays on at Bomberland the happier I am. They’re going nowhere whilst he’s in charge of their playing list.

I’m not convinced you can change your approach to your sport to any great degree. You look at the way Trac, Clarry and Viney go about their football. All three are hell bent on being the very best they can, whatever it takes. I don’t see the same desire in LJ. I was a surfer for 50 years. It’s a sport that can get in your blood to the point you want to do nothing else but be in the water. I moved from Melbourne to the Surf Coast as soon as I could. Luke would be loving the fact that he’s got waves, albeit ordinary in Perth, on his doorstep, and I’ll bet a surf would take preference over a run or kick of a footy. That’s my opinion.
