Agree on TMac. We have none on our list with his versatility. You're kidding yourself if you think another club would take Billings or McAdam off our hands. Even if we paid 100% of their salaries.

I see no point in playing BBB or Schache again this season unless they are keen or we need them numbers wise. MJ needs another tall - Fullerton, Verall, Kentfield. I supported my club for more than 60 years, but geez, it's getting harder by the week.

As regards giving players a send-off game: the AFL is a ruthless business. At present it looks like our club has made a major stuff up in recruiting Billings, McAdam and Fullerton. Maybe Luker. And we have to 'carry' all three/four for another year. Hopefully they'll make me eat my words Added to this we will have JS on our list for the foreseeable future (see W Rioli). With Gus, Spargs, BBB, Schache et al we've had well short of a full list all year. We need to make better choices. That's my take. Happy for youse all to give me a clip.

I disagree. I don’t think we owe Hunter anything. He wasn’t wanted at the Dogs and my reliable source tells me there’s been little change in his off field behaviour. Better to give Tholstrup more experience.

My 'doom and gloom' outlook extends to next year and beyond. Other than JvR, Caleb and ? I can't see any of our current players getting any better. MJ our only real hope at Casey. Some dead wood will go and hopefully JT and his mob have learnt not to recruit more dead wood.
