I wonder what Hogan thinks of Freo's pathetic offer ? If he doesn't care I would be disappointed, considering our club has been good to him. Personally if it was me, I would tell Freo to get knotted and never play for the club. But money talks !!!!!.

I thought Hogan was constantly be chased by Freo but have offered next to nothing for him. It is like buying champagne with beer money. Perhaps secretly they are trying to extract revenge for us giving them spud Sylvia. Perhaps they are waiting to get him for zilch in the future. I am not sure if getting May would be of benefit especially as we already have a lot of tall defenders. I would like to see Hunt step like Harmes and become a champion smaller defender/mid. I don't think we could afford to lose him.

If Hunt trains his A off over the break,then why would we need May?

We don't seem be a destination club for some reason. Would like to see Hogan play as a defender. O'Mac could go forward. J.Smith retrained as a tall mid. Jones to be eased out of senior side. Hunt to become a forward. Possibly pick up Preuss, Gawn can ruck 50% and play back or forward. Preuss to ruck rest of team

I would expect Petty and Baker to step up. However I think J.Garlett has reached his "best before" date. Jones won't last long if he loses his captaincy. Hunt and Petracca need to work their backsides off. Preuss would be very handy and a good relief for Gawn. We get an "a" grade mid.

If Hogan goes we will get decent draft picks 2019 which is not bad. Feezing up our salary cap could allow us to get Gaff or possibly Sheilds. Lynch may be possible. Tyson,Kent,JKH,Dion and Garlett could be put on the trade table.

Someone from the Saints admin thought they should have picked Petracca instead of Mc C, the Dees showed interest in De Goey which would have been a win win for both clubs.

The Dees will win this year G.F,followed by the next 5. I see a 50's domination all over again. Young talented kids will be "dying" to get into our side.

Hopefully he becomes a depth player. J.Smith will eventually make our top 22.

love to see petracca play in the midfield,viney's injury may be long term. so we might need salem and j.smith (near future) to play mid. Next year hopefully ollie w. can come back home.

The dees should send ollie an appology for not picking him over the spud doupas. He was "neelded". Who could we off load to port,ANB,Stretch,Melksham,Vince,Wagner,Kennedy Harris,Kent etc. More Mongrel bring it on !!!!!.

Watching Lever he didn't do anything spectacular(and so did his mates).If O'Mac played in Lever's position and team would have performed just as bad. Perhaps we are making too much fuss over Lever,mind you he will be an asset. O'Mac might have to play in another position.

In the Herald-Sun someone suggested we depart with our pick 10 and a player like Hunt or Salem. Surely we need to keep pick for someone like Jack Higgins,Hunt and Salem wouldn't trade. So what can we offer Adelaide for Lever,our next year's first rounder,possibly Tyson and our 2nd rounder. Obviously we get a couple of their low end picks.

When J.Smith was playing down back,our backline seemed to be more secure. Next year I think that J.Smith should become a mid,he is quick and shows skill. O.Mac could go to the wing, to some people he looks slow but he isn't. Jetta should be used up forward,may replace Garlett or used in combo. Perhaps Maynard could then play in defence. Not sure if T.Mac is a forward or Defender. What about this crazy idea when Gawn rucks Watts is the rover.This move may confuse the opposition,if Watts doesn't hold and held onto he get a free. Also rucking in our forward zone we use Pedo or T.Mac,Gawn goes to a forward pocket. To be a great team you need great mids,a changing game plan,smarter players etc.
