Regarding Port Adel. performance, I do believe that majority of their players are protesting against in minority of one. I recently had a dream / nightmare that the Dees were 91 pts to Port's & pts somewhere in the game.

Dees by 10 pts.Players to wash in nappy sand at 3/4 time because it prevents 'fade'.

The Dees Management need to set a high standard when selecting a senior coach. A contract needs to be based on the coaches and staff performance(success). i.e 3-4 finals and 1 grand final every five years. Goodwin's contract would have been over this year , no need to keep him for 2026 or to pay him out.

Maybe we should try Howes up front . Only position I would play Jefferson and Fullarton is on the bench preferably a bus one. I would also try Adams as a ruck/forward however non of anyone's idea is going to be implemented as a club we don't think outside the square.

Kozzie in a direct swap for Jackson. Oliver, JVR ,FRitsch (whatever you can get for them ,thou not much) plus a Future 1 st rd pick for Harley. ................ not going to happens and besides he does not want to play for a bunch of losers. NOTE:- Jackson is on good coin , Kozzie will be putting his hand out for a big pay rise soon.

Jesse Hogan didn't do much at Freo . Jackson for Kozzie ( he is going to put his hand out for more $$$$$) is a win win for both clubs. WE get a ruckman who is capable of kicking goals , we don't have anyone who comes close. Lots of people on D.L didn't want Hogan back at the club prior to joining GWS .... guess what ? You are spewing now we didn't get him back. Now i can understand why we took 57 yrs to win a flag .......... negativity endless.

How is no tackle Fritsch still getting a game? We pick half Fullarton and I don't want to be there Oliver. It is about time Sestan, Adams and K.Brown get a game, as we have nothing to lose. We are going to get smashed like an Avacado.

There is always going to be a change in game. Coaches and their staff are there to make changes. Players will have to adapt or will need to be banished. This new style will suit Laurie , does that mean he or the club was waiting for a new style to make him a good footballer ? Perhaps we should keep underperforming players because we can expect a playing style to change. All B.S I don't see Hogan playing a different style , he is an above average forward .

JVR to defence. Turner forward . Windsor on the wing . Langdon forward . Kentfield and Sestan in to replace Howes and Fritsch . Oliver to be sub. (don't think he wants to place for us anymore). For Casey never ever play Fullarton and Jefferson again in the the forward line, they had their chances but failed to capitalise . I would rather see AC play forward / Ruck, Verall could also do the same as an interchange player. AJ to play forward pocket. Henderson mid field. I don't actually care what happens to Fritsch in a football sense as he seemingly cannot tackle. I still believe Goody is the wrong person to coach the Dees and that includes the coaching staff.

Was that the same Goodwin who stated that Jackson was staying at Melbourne...... Just Saying.

Fritsch to Essendon for their highest first round pick. Oliver to some team for their fist round pick other than Geelong and assuming he takes a pay cut. Kozzie to Fremantle for fist rounder plus a future F1. We may have to 2nd round swaps as for sweeteners. We extract Jackson from Freo and Harley from W.C (probably not going to happen) then we aim for another classy mid. We also try to get Georgiades from P.Adel. We can off load Sparrow to S.A for a 2nd rd pick. In summary we need a mid, forward and a ruckman/forward.

If Oliver's heart is to move on, then he has to take a salary dump not us to supplement his is income. Why should he get paid for not playing based on whatever , everyone playing AFL footy can do the same. If we select him to play against the Hawks is he not going to play at his best ? Note: His best is not what it used to be. Whilst he has issues with the club whether it is mental health or not, I would give him a run in the reserves this week but knowing MFC that's probably not going to happen.

Dropping Oliver is not a bad idea, that will determine if he is really interested in playing for the the Dees. Would trading him be a benefit to him regarding his mental state?

Why is JVR an emergency for tonight's match? Fritsch used to be our best forward , no longer has the midas touch so I would W,C to win by 35 pts. Everyone will be on the sack Goody band wagon.

Is Luke Jackson available?

JVR and Petty playing forward is probably going to be our best combo. Jefferson and Fullarton not up to AFL standard, delist year's end. Fritsch is a major concern as he no longer going to be our leading G.K and doesn't takle, almost has become irrelevant. Perhaps we could trade him to Essendon for one of their first round picks ( not pick number one). Like to pick up Georgy from Port A.

Not convinced that playing Fritsch benefits the team anymore. Perhaps he should become sub against Weagles. Would like to see May play FF as he is too slow for FB. Turner could become F.B

JVR and Fritsch didn't do much in the reserves and therefore should not be rewarded. The best way to get JVR to gain form is to play him in the ruck. Jefferson must play FF for Casey. Blooding new players for the seniors against Richmond is not a bad idea. Sestan for Salem (not playing well), the inclusion of Adams at FB is worth a try. May can have another week off.

You could have dropped plenty of other players. Perhaps it is a little too late. Freo to win , Goody to get sacked surely !!!!

BEVO will be coaching FREMANTLE next year and JUM will be there also.

Not totally against us getting Bevo, but his success rate is not that good. Bevo needs to gets a free reign on coaching staff and anyone else who is involved in the club . Say goodbye to Jones, Jamar, Choko, Richardson and whoever is the defence coach. Two more losses to go and Goody is gone.

I don't want a good man i.e Brad to run the club. We need someone that has mongrel in them. I heard that Brad said the board has every faith in Goody , usually means he is a dead man walking. We are not going to turn things around as the players in my opinion do not want to play for Goody and co. I wonder how we can get our first round pick back from Essendon. Perhaps Fritsch,two second rounders for there 1 st rounder and 2 x 4 th rounders. Maybe we will be stupid enough to give them Fritsch and our future 1 st rounder.

The senior players have lost faith in Goody , if he stays on we would be lucky to win 2 matches for the year. Players like Kossie,Petty,Petracca and Oliver would want to go. Others players will be included. Who comes in and who goes out will not make any difference whatsoever. We are back to revolving doors. The club needs to be shaken up , I would play May and Fullerton and/or Jefferson forward . Adams,Turner and JVR back and Sestan. Drop Salem ,Chandler,Viney. Make Max Gawn as rucking coach part time player which means Max and Verrall share ruck duties. Drop Sparrow as well . Give Pup a chance playing forward. NONE OF THESE MOVES WILL HAPPEN OF COURSE.

I heard Goody is trying a new game plan. Expected to take 23 rounds ( or was that weeks ) , he has a policy or regular seniors players cannot get dropped, only the fringe ones. If you are a MFC reserves don't worry about playing well as there is no light at the end of the table. Who wants to come to Melbourne, only those who find it easy to get a salary for doing nothing. I laughed when appointed N.Jones as a mid coach, I actually assumed he was going to be the water boy. Many of us complained N.Jones cluncking the ball on several occasions. There is no way he teach any of our mids anything whatsoever. If I was Brown ,Sestan ,Adams ,Fullerton and Verall I would go elsewhere. We need ASAP a new coach and assistant who can make the Dees strong again. NOT going to happen I know.
