In regards to his set shots, a mate and I were discussing a few days ago about a player in the 90's who completely changed his style. Used to take a grab, scuff the turf where the mark was, step back another 5 yards and make another scuff so he knew his direct approach. We thought it could have been Buckethands Loewe who was a shocking kick before Peter Hudson straightened him up but can't find any footage to confirm. Perhaps that is an approach Jesse needs. Interstate teams with wings are the Eagles, Crows and Swans. The 2 players I found from those lists who have obvious "ocean bound" names are Beech (beach) and Shaw (shore) from the crows. I'm still missing the butter knife bit but

I think these are just the Category B rookies, ones who haven't been playing footy but have the rough potential to play. Like how we have Shaun Smith's son the basketballer or how some teams get rookies from overseas. I have a bit to do with my local womens club and had a player nominate for the draft (and a couple get approached to nominate) and I think it's not far off, in the coming weeks
