  1. His assessment on Matt Kennedy shows he writes a lot to seem informed, but doesn't know a great deal... Lots of impressive words and 'recruiting' terms...poor identification. I stopped reading there...lucky I got there after he rated Partington at 9. I assume the rest was as 'interesting'.
  2. He's been on Curnow for longer than a week. https://twitter.com/BrettAndersonIF/status/656620967209267202 https://twitter.com/BrettAndersonIF/status/656624479108378624
  3. Not that it matters much because he was very impressive, but it was 7 marks not 12 against the 'Ants. Took 4 against Werribee too.
  4. Parish's lack of tackling is one of the major knocks on him.
  5. Because he won't be there at 3...fairly simple.
  6. Number 18 for green was very very clean with everything he did. Skinny, but looked quick and smart.
  7. Glad you aren't making the picks then!! Small, not quick, just an OK kick, plenty of cheap kicks in back half, not a great decision maker.
  8. I don't think being aggressive is a pre-requisite, but being competitive is. Parish is a competitor...Jimmy and Jack are not.
  9. Until Garland, Grimes, Bail, Terlich, M.Jones, McKenzie go, were aren't going to improve. All 25+ and are list cloggers.
  10. Parish is competitive. Tucker has question marks and his kicking isn't as good as it needs to be as a running half back. We have so many holes. Weitering should be the number 1 priority of we can find away to let Carlton and maybe Gold Coast get ahead of us on the ladder.
  11. I thought the first half last week was too good to be true!
  12. He's a star. Would take him at 3 in a heartbeat.
  13. Port delisted him so he could sign with a club as a DFA...otherwise he would have had to take his chances in the draft.
  14. Emma doesn't watch any TAC Cup really. Just talks to recruiters.
  15. Chip is 10000000% gone. Club is happy for him to go, so should supporters.
  16. Both tipped to be inside the top 10 three weeks ago.... http://www.sen.com.au/display-article-2013/2014-AFL-Mock-Draft-20/70727
  17. Adelaide has a 1st round pick. If Chip goes, we could have two picks in the top five.
  18. Scharenberg was the other player highly rated by the Dees. In top four.
  19. Dees were drafting Billings if we kept Pick 2. That is fact...Makes the whole argument redundant.
  20. On talent alone, Pickett is a top 3 pick. If Frawley leaves and we get a 1st round compo pick, a combination of Pickett and Goddard/Durdin in the 1st round, then a rebounding defender in the 2nd round followed by Stretch in round 3 would be the perfect draft.
  21. We tried to talk Kosi into coming across and playing a year as well instead of retiring. This is fact.
  22. Here are a few profiles of possible pick 9's from the Inside Footy draft guide.... Nathan Freeman Sandringham Dragons 16/6/95 H: 182cm W: 85kg Like Josh Kelly, he took the combine by storm not only with his testing but with his personality he was up and about all week. His personality is a bit like the way he plays its up and about and sometimes a bit in your face, but in a good way, but I think hes exciting and we are going to be talking about him in the next few years at AFL level taking the game on and doing really well. Hes got that electric burst of speed but has also worked very hard on his endurance and has firmed right into a possible first round pick chance as he plays football for the current day AFL like a Luke Shuey or even a Daniel Kerr. Sandringham region manager Ryan OConnor DRAFT RANGE: Top 10 Matthew Scharenberg Glenelg 18/9/95 H: 190cm W: 89kg An elite player. It was unfortunate that he hurt his foot and didnt play a lot of football late in the year after playing a great Under 18s national carnival. Just finds the footy really well, read the game brilliantly playing as a key defender in the Under 18s and played in the back pocket in the seniors for us. He is elusive, doesnt get caught often and makes great decisions. His skill is improving and hes a long kick but needs to keep working on his short options and hitting those regularly. A great ability to know when to defend and when to attack and is just clever with what he does. Hes a great size for his position and he understands where hes at with his footy in terms of not getting ahead of himself. Keen in the gym and keen on the track hes going to be a beauty. After what he did at the carnival the feeling was he is a top five draft selection. Glenelg football manager Ken Applegarth DRAFT RANGE: Top 10
