  1. Below is the Dogs forwardline from Friday night. Who does Rivers play on? HF: Robert Murphy, Mitch Hahn, Brad Johnson F: Daniel Giansiracusa, Barry Hall, Jason Akermanis For mine its Warnock to Hall, Frawley to Hahn, Bruce to Johnson, Garland to Murphy, Grimes to Gia, Bartram to Aker. Joel MacDonald as a swing man for Hahn, Murphy or Johnson.
  2. he did not play this week because he was getting over the corky which forced him out last week. He will not miss three weeks with a corky and I would hope he ius straight back in.
  3. I dont think Jaded was blinkered at all. His handball is a serious issue. He does not deserve to be dropped but he was not for mine in the best 6 players in a Dees jumper. Not even close.
  4. Sylvinator I agree but think you have gone one change too many. Out Rivers, Petterd(inj), Martin In Bail, Cheney, McKenzie
  5. 6. Jones 5. Dunn 4. Green 3. Jamar 2. Grimes 1. Bartram Jaded I am not a fan but he was one of the few 4 qtr performers today.
  6. And he should be straight back out of the side after today. He was useless. Is not tall enough to play on the true talls and does not have the speed to play on leading forwards. He offers no run and has poor skills. There is no matchup for him against the dogs next week. Back to casey you go.
  7. Alwyn had his chance to join his brother at the end of 2009 and chose to stay with the bombers. He is also potentially once of the most overrated players in football. Doubt he would get a game for us. Next.
  8. Our gamestyle requires the players to be able to spread laterally to allow room between the ball carrier and the available options. We have only just figured out how to make that space on the bigger G. I think our gamestyle will be challenging to maintain effectively at Etihad.
  9. Good post Craig....I mean Peanuts
  10. Seriously considered sleeping in the number 16 long sleeve Dees guernsey last night. Is that wrong for a 35 year old male?
  11. This is a realistic post. We need to consider that as good as what we have been the last three weeks that a young team will tire as the season wears on and be inconsistent. That we have a dream run at the start of the year with majority of games at the G and Collingwood aside have not faced any of the top 4 teams. Enjoy the glimpses of the future, they will become more and more but be wary of getting ahead with your expectations.
  12. 6. Moloney 5. Frawley 4. Bate 3. Jamar 2. Jones 1. Sylvia Apologies to 16 other players.
  13. Incorrect. Joel was on him for majority of the time. Bruce played on him for less than 5 minutes.
  14. Not the right fit for mine.
  15. No. Not in starting 22 and meant to put him in emergencies but forgot. He is playing good footy at the moment but for mine think he will be squeezed from our forwardline when Jurrah returns. Could not put him ahead of Bate, Green, Sylvia or Morton and I named Bail for speed and hardness as we dont have a decent crumber. Considered him on the bench but I dont think he offers flexibility to play a quality role on ball or back.
  16. Good memory H. Accepted my humble pie after watching him in a preseason hit out. Then boldly claimed on another forum as the player most likely to suprise this year. Happy to keep eating that pie with lashings of whatever you like on top of it whilst he keeps playing the way he has been.
  17. Have either of them put pen to paper yet? I will feel elated once both of them have resigned.
  18. How many games have Talia and Black played? You answer your own question as soon as you quote Sheedy. Whatever he says it is fair to say doing the opposite is probably the smart thing.
  19. Wonna has not played in 18 months but at least we know what he was capable of. What has Watts done to deserve a spot? Is that any more than what we know of Wonna? Based on what we have seen and not predicting what a player may do my 22 would be. Backs Bartram Warnock Garland HB MacDonald,Frawley,Grimes Mids Trengove, Moloney, Davey HF Sylvia Bate Morton F Bail Jurrah Green Rucks Jamar McDonald, Scully Int Bruce, McKenzie, Bennell, Jones Emerg Rivers, Martin, Dunn
  20. Agree it is not popular...nor is it intelligent.
  21. Fraser is not really a ruckman more a follower and Vickery is just a kid. We will not have the luxury of 5 minutes with Dunn in the middle not hurting us against a quality pair in Clark and Leunberger. Playing Jamar on his own was never going to cost the game today. Next week it is a risk I dont think we should take. Martin is not the best ruckmen but he offers flexibility at both ends and should be able to negate for short periods in the middle.
  22. About 9 marks and 3 hitouts. Thats 3 more hitouts than I saw Martin get last time I saw him play in the ruck 3 goals in consecutive weeks is not exactly banging the door down. Dunn is not the greatest player but he was good today and performed his role well enough. In saying this I would bring in Martin next week as it is too much to ask of Jamar I think, just not at the expense of Dunn.
  23. I dont think anyone deserves to get dropped this week but it is alot to ask Jamar to go all game against Clark and Leunberger.
  24. Frawley will play on Brown. Warnock on Fevola I reckon. Dunn was serviceable again today so doubt he will be dropped. In Martin Out Bartram
