Adem Yze

be in the best 10 players to put on the red and blue in the past decade

Many people have Yze retiring either during or at the end of 2008. There is much talk of Neitz getting a send-off game or whatever, yet no one seems to want to see Yze back in the team this year. Firstly, should he be played again this year, and secondly, if not, does he deserve to come back for a farewell considering he's been a fine servant of the MFC?

he will get a few more games, starting next week

Of course. he should get a send off. Particulary if there are any potential must-tank games. Play him, along with Holland, Neitz and co. Jeez we have a bad list. ND has a lot to take blame for. It will take 25 years to recuperate, with all the new clubs getting draft picks etc. Minimum 25 years. We wont be competitive until 2034, minimum. Thanks Daniher!

there is no must-tank games because we will not win a game this year

The problem with to mant people is they forget the past, due to the bleak present and the possible bleaker future...

Yze has been a sensational servant of this club. He deserves alot more than half the players playing in our team at the moment.

Ooze will go down as one of my fav demon players, and he is showing class an grace at the moment the way he is conducting himself at Sandy.

I'm filthy that Byron Pickett got given games late last year.

Played less then 20-30 games. Showed no respect in coming back over weight and ND giving him games to play himself to shape. That is just wrong.

Yze on the other hand has played over 260+ games and has been a great servant for MFC.

IMO i would give him ONE farewell game.

I would give Neitz ONE farewell game too.

I would give Jamar ONE farewell game.

Melbourne supporters would come out in force if we knew these three played their last game.

You can blame Mark Riley for continuing on the farce after Daniher had left. Very selfish coacihng and belongs at Carlton.

You might be right, but they'd be there for different reasons in the case of Jamar :P

Please don't put Nieta and the oooze in the same category as Mark Jamar!! was that a typo??

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
