How tall is Cale Morton? Look at this pic

I think he is taller than his listed height, as evidenced by this pic standing next to the 200cm Matthew Kreuzer

Standing on bricks.

could've had boots on, who knows.

reckon he might be 1 or 2cm taller than what he's listed at (192cm) but still fairly well short of Kruezer at 199cm

[censored] he does look tall!

Morton has the skinniest legs I have ever seen on an AFL footballer. They are too skinny to carry the weight of someone standing much more than 192/3 cm!

Who cares what his height is really, if the M.F.C can develop him into a great footballer and not destroy him by playing him in wrong positions i'll be happy. M.F.C need to play there young players where they will flourish and gain confidence, not by just filling in a senior players position.

except kruzer is doing a great impression of lurch with his flat hair... morton lookes like he has 5 cm of hair ontop of his!!

he is a good height, will cause some awesome mismatches over next 10 years!

Hehe. He certainly did look pretty skinny out there on Saturday.

Agreed. Let's just hope he stays with us that long!

Just to add grist to the conspiracy mill; Morton is the only player not to have his height listed in the almanac.

I saw some footage of him standing next to Neitz in the change rooms before the Hawthorn game, and was suprised because he actually looked taller (Factor in Neitz'z bald bonce and it's a bit different) but I reckon you are right YM, for possibly the first time in your life!

195 is my tip for the next round of measurements.

One can only dream.

Tall lad, showed nice skills too on the weekend...currently makes Kate Moss look like Nigella Lawson, but a few chicken parma's can fix that!

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
