Your joking?

Give some details.....

What a joke.

The club had the cattle and the new coach for the last six rounds, and lost all six.

Enjoy mediocrity, Mr. Judd!

hahaha

Judd , you complete [censored]

Enjoy your wooden spoon

Gary Pert of the filth mystified as to why Carlton was chosen, but wished Judd all the best in his decision. Hope the AFL keep an eye on $$$$ at Carlton.

 Telstra Dome. Great for groins.

YOU'RE JOKING RIGHT!? OK, I HAVE NOW LOST ANY RESPECT I HAD FOR JUDD!

Carlton, for gods sake this is shocking. He has said he wanted to go to a club that has success written on it, and yet he has chosen a team that has cheering for losses in the last 2-3 years. At least if he named Collingwood, but when to Carlton because of WC he could have disguised his true intentions.

I take back what i said yesterday, he is nothing but your typical, money hungry footballer and I'm glad we won't have to find find a way of squeezing him under our cap. In fact, i hope Carlton get found out for doing MORE salary cap breeches and he gets 10 years of failure at a club that is now built on that foundation.

His career is over

Playing for the worst footy club in the country, and on the worst surface for soft tisse injuries

Judd, you are a [censored]

Choosing that ahead of your boyhood dream

Shame on you

Will be satisfying to see him have a season of losses playing at a sh*tty ground next year.

From Carlton FC:

The Carlton Football Club has confirmed that Chris Judd has nominated Carlton as the preferred Club to pursue his future career as a senior AFL footballer.

Carlton CEO Greg Swann said that the Club will be working through trade negotiations with the West Coast Eagles and Chris’s manager Paul Connors to complete a suitable exchange.

“We are delighted that Chris has seen fit to nominate the Carlton Football Club as his future home at a time when the Club is embarking on what will be a new and exciting era,” Swann said.

“Now that Chris has selected Carlton, we will formally commence discussions to finalise a trade appropriate to all parties. We are extremely confident that we can strike a suitable deal, but are mindful that there is still much to be done to secure Chris’s services.”

The Club will not be making any comment in respect of rumours or speculation about Carlton players or draft selection being exchanged in order for the deal to progress.

if only we had byron pickett for one more year...

Probably the worst decision he could've made for his groin too! TWANG! That's the sound of it going round 1 @ TD!

I could've handled Collingwood, because it's the logical choice anyone would make, but honestly.....Carlton!

Said he wants facilities....... Theres is as bad as ours.....

Said he wants to win games....... When was the last time Carlton won anything.....

Said he wants to be part of a winning culture...... Or was it a culture of fans who boo opposition goals......

ENJOY ENOUGH TANKING TO WIN A PREMIERSHIP RIGHT IN TIME FOR YOUR RETIREMENT.

......and you forgot the fact he said he wants to play on the 'G

The whole saga from top to bottom has been more than a little weird and now it is downright sinister.

I guess money really can talk  !!!

I can't believe anyone would willingly choose to play at Carlton after their last few years of tanking.

Then again I used to think Judd was a man of integrity and good character.

A caller to 3AW last night said he was going to be paid $9m over five years. There are also whispers about him getting an executive role at some stage in the future with Pratt's company.

The same club was getting handouts from the AFL earlier this year.

come on, look at how many top draft picks carlton have ,and they still cant move from the bottom of the ladder

so krusner to eagles then?

And Carlton will live now and forever with the idelible taint of the tank. And we'll say in years to come how the AFL had to change the rules because of it.

No player is worth that stain on your club forever.

Good old navy blues - the white sox of the AFL

Carlton will give up pick 3 and 20 for sure...plus a player. Kennedy fits the mould, bc he is relatively expendable by Carlton, but was pick 4 in a strong draft and is a 20yrold 200cm key positioin player...

people may think that pick 3,20 and kennedy is not much to give up...

but when u think about it, its essentially 2 top5 picks (kennedy pick 4 only 2 years ago), plus pick 20 which could get a good player as well.

3 players> 1 player??? pick 3 and kennedy are sure to be 200game players. pick 20 could be great as well..who knows.

still quite a lot to give up

I hope WC bleed them dry

They should demand picks 1, 3, Fevola and Kennedy

Perhaps this is incredibly petty, but I'd be [censored] if his girl Twigley was somehow given a job at channel 7 after missing out on Eddie's offers. Reeallllyyy don't want any support for them coming from any Melbourne quarters.

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG to face the Tigers in their annual Blockbuster on ANZAC Eve for the 10th time. The Dees will be desperate to reignite their stuttering 2025 campaign and claim just their second win of the season. Can the Demons dig deep and find that ANZAC Spirit to snatch back to back wins?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.

  • NON-MFC: Round 07

Round 7 gets underway in iconic fashion with the traditional ANZAC Day blockbuster. The high-flying Magpies will be looking to solidify their spot atop the ladder, while the Bombers are desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top eight. Later that evening, Fremantle will be out to redeem themselves after a disappointing loss to the Demons, facing a hungry Adelaide side with eyes firmly set on breaking into the top four. Saturday serves up a triple-header of footy action. The Lions will be looking to consolidate their Top 2 spot as they head to Marvel Stadium to clash with the Saints. Over in Adelaide, Port Adelaide will be strong favourites at home against a struggling North Melbourne. The day wraps up with a fiery encounter in Canberra, where the Giants and Bulldogs renew their bitter rivalry. Sunday’s schedule kicks off with the Suns aiming to bounce back from their shock defeat to Richmond, taking on the out of form Swans. Then the Blues will be out to claim a major scalp when they battle the Cats at the MCG. The round finishes with a less-than-thrilling affair between Hawthorn and West Coast at Marvel. Who are you tipping and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

  • PREGAME: Richmond

The Dees are back at the MCG on Thursday for the annual blockbuster ANZAC Eve game against the Tigers. Can the Demons win back to back games for the first time since Rounds 17 & 18 last season? Who comes in and who goes out?
