I will refuse to declare victory and pop the sparkling wine bottle because the significant and official source can only be the man himself, and what did we get from him last night? "I haven't decided yet"

Regardless of this - there is so much speculation flowing around about one club only and it is in almost everybody's ears and it is building people with confidence as to who Judd will decide upon, that yesterday morning, $3 became $2.25, $2.25 re-opened at $2.00 and now is $1.70.

That short of a price to still have fluctuations means there must be HUGE MONEY flowing in.

Which makes this weekend one of the most agonising in my lifetime.

As I put elsewhere Deers, I wouldn't read to much into the betting, unless it's a ) suspended or b ) there is a massive swing. Several major sources have put it out there that its as good as done, and now all the mugs are getting on us whilst there is still a chance of multiplying your money.

Also, Judd won't announce he has decided until he calls the press conference or whatever he's planning to do to put the word out, so I wouldn't read too much into that.

Mate, Melbourne has come in from an opening quote of $9, and now into 1.70. Carlton opened at $1.25 and out to 2.50 now. If you don't call that a massive swing, I don't know what is. And before all this hype the Dees were already into $3. He's our man.

I was one of the lucky ones who got on at $8.50. I put a $100 free bet from sportsbet on it. I'm looking forward to a lovely collect.

No what I'm saying is that there has already been a massive swing towards us. I'm saying that our odds shortening from 2.50 to 1.70 in the past 24 hours is probably down to mugs, and people shouldnt read too much into it from now on (in terms of where Juddy will go).

I agree that he is our man, however.

Let's hope he is.. I just found out a mate of mine put 7500 on melbourne at $2 after hearing from Ashley Hansen's parents who heard from Mr and Mrs Judd senior that he is def a melbourne player in 2008.

Scary, scary bet.

small little post. no big noting, but could well be the most accurate prediction of judds future yet.

if someone is willing to put their money where their mouth is, and have a reasonable source, i stand up and listen.

that being said this is an internet forum...

but you've got my hopes up a bit.

Hmm - not bad there. Judd being a professional athlete I wonder why he told his folks first but he has a very close relationship with M&D so I guess it would be known to them.

Could be because they have had some influence on his decision? We can only hope :P.

you would have to think that if he loves and respects his folks as much as he seems then of course he is going to talk over some elements of the thing with them.. He's not Methuselah !! he's 24 !!

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
