Posting unsubstantiated rumours on this website is strictly forbidden.

Demonland has made the difficult decision to not permit this platform to be used to discuss & debate the off-field issues relating to the Melbourne Football Club including matters currently being litigated between the Club & former Board members, board elections, the issue of illicit drugs in footy, the culture at the club & the personal issues & allegations against some of our players & officials ...

We do not take these issues & this decision lightly & of course we believe that these serious matters affecting the club we love & are so passionate about are worthy of discussion & debate & I wish we could provide a place where these matters can be discussed in a civil & respectful manner.

However these discussions unfortunately invariably devolve into areas that may be defamatory, libelous, spread unsubstantiated rumours & can effect the mental health of those involved. Even discussion & debate of known facts or media reports can lead to finger pointing, blame & personal attacks.

The repercussion is that these discussions can open this website, it’s owners & it’s users to legal action & may result in this website being forced to shutdown.

Our moderating team are all volunteers & cannot moderate the forum 24/7 & as a consequence problematic content that contravenes our rules & standards may go unnoticed for some time before it can be removed.

We reserve the right to delete posts that offend against our above policy & indeed, to ban posters who are repeat offenders or who breach our code of conduct.

WE HAVE BUILT A FANTASTIC ONLINE COMMUNITY AT DEMONLAND OVER THE PAST 23 YEARS & WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO BE ABLE TO DISCUSS THE CLUB WE LOVE & ARE SO PASSIONATE ABOUT.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding. Go Dees.

So there you have it, folks. Put those troubled minds at rest, forget about worrying about whether or not Chris Judd is currently effectively being seduced to join Melbourne by Garry and co. The Judd-O-Meter has spoken, and the days of Mebourne as an irrelevant and forgettable club are over.

Expect to see Judd mooning the Lexus Centre in a Melbourne guernsey on Tuesday morning's edition of the Hun.

so basically you think Collingwood in the best fit for Judd, with the fact that he supported us as a kid outweighing most factors.

lets hope for our sake Judd is sentimental then.

somehow i think that after playing 6 seasons of afl u stop supporting ur old team...but we can still hope!

imo our best chance of securing Judd is if, like u suggest, if comes down to Collingwood or Melbourne, and we have more to offer WCE in terms of trades and draft picks.

Lol! Pantaloons, the only reason Melbourne came first in your analysis was due to Judd barracking for us when he was a kid. We got 10/10 the rest got 0/10! That was the only reason we seemed to get over the line. So you must be saying, in other words, that he barracked for us so Melbourne wins. It ain't possible to get between 0 and 10 out of 10 for that particular criteria - it's either a 0 or a 10.

Bit distorted IMO.

Bit distorted IMO.

Out of all that you chose the "barracking" as the 'distortion" ..lol !!!

Thought it a rather inventive take on the whole thing.

Im with you Pants.. its a lay down misere !!! well..almost.. psossibly.... maybe.. if we're really really really lucky !!

Yeh well the bottom line seemed to be Judd supported Melbourne so, therefore, we win! Hell, it gave us a 10-0 jump on the other 3 clubs in his analysis! We were losing (i.e. coming 2nd) before that 'criterion' came in.

take a deep breath..

it was a little bit tongue in cheek I dare say !! :)

but it is only 10/112 on pants' list. thats only 8.9% of the whole 'analysis'...

what his 'analysis' is saying is that the loyalty factor could be the few % difference between the decisions.

if juss sits down at the end of the day and says, its a 50/50, or even perhaps 40/60, that extra % could be what swings it our way. and dont forget that 10 points are not only his own loyalties as a kid but the loyalty of his parents...

Very true. Just seemed silly to me haha. Obviously Colling$#@%, Blues and Dons would get 0/10 and Melbourne 10/10 - you can't get anything in the middle!! But I see your point deanox.

I personally am of the view that these types of 'intangibles" rate highly on Judds list. Why move to Melboutrne at all if not for the quality of life family and friends offers.

Well when you consider that we are the odd club out of the 4, that there is some sentimentality there from Judd, or we wouldn't be considered in his 4 teams.

But i agree, a 0/10 or 10/10 for the team he supported is a bit rich, it counts for something, but not 10 points.

If Melbourne were to get 10/10 in that category, then the rest would have to have atleast 5-6 points down, as they are a Vic club.

I'm hoping that, if Judd chooses the filth then the dees, the weagles will try and trade with us, as we have superior picks, and i don't think the weagles would want to trade with the filth, when they could with us.

it will all depend on what he says. if he says i want to go to x, or i go in the draft, then it will be alright. but if says i want to go to melb or collingwood then i think we should bargain and back out. as great as he is, if its a bidding war we're in we will lose. we should just bump up the price for collingwood.

if he just picks one club, i think WC will have to settle for 1 player and 1 pick...if its a bidding war they will get loads more.

Lack of media attention: 9/10

I can't be the only one finding the total lack of media attention of our club actually being a positive here more than a little ironic  !!!

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak

    MELBOURNE BUSINESS by The Oracle

In days of old, this week’s Thursday night AFL match up between the Demons and the Blues would be framed on the basis of the need to redress the fact that Carlton “stole” last year’s semi final away from Melbourne and with it, their hopes for the premiership.  A hot gospelling coach might point out to his charges that they were the better team on the night in all facets and that poor kicking for goal and a couple of lapses at the death cost them what was rightfully theirs. Moreover, now was

UNDER THE PUMP by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons have been left languishing near the bottom of the VFL table after suffering a 32-point defeat at the hands of stand alone club Williamstown at Casey Fields on Sunday. The Demons suffered a major setback before the game even started when AFL listed players Ben Brown, Marty Hore and Josh Schache were withdrawn from the selected side. Only Schache was confirmed as an injury replacement, the other two held over as possible injury replacements for Melbourne’s Thursday night fixt
