Legend.

Keen to hear how the likes of Taylor, Matthews and AMW go.

We’ve got cheer squad members there this morning. Apparently AMW looks great, is running well and has no strapping. YAY!

What position is he playing in?

Would love an update on how Xavier Taylor is looking from anyone that’s there - thanks

I’ll ask my DA buddies who are at the match.

Casey leads 5.8.38 to 5.3.33 after momentarily giving up the lead. Goal to Bowden puts them back ahead.

From Casey’s X account

“A crumbing goal from Toby Sinnema and a kick off the ground from Melksham, gets Casey two goals in two minutes.” 50 - 33

Edit: With his fourth goal, Casey go to a 23 point lead.

Melk’s fourth came from a kick off the ground. The Demons have steadied in the second half of this quarter.

sorry make that 4 goals for melksham now… what is happening

Fantastic. This is what we want. Old man Milkshake putting pressure on best 23 spots. Anyone know what role he is playing? I assume deep forward?
Would love to hear how some of our kids are looking from anyone there.

That young fella Melksham can play a bit, if he keeps this up he’ll be getting a game in the firsts!

Casey right on top

Early in third quarter. 3 goals to 1 this q but Casey dominating in the middle now. Only area saints on top of us to half time. 77 to 39.

The Demons are back at the MCG for the second week in a row. They face the Suns off a 15 day break without their prized recruit and former Demon champion Christian Petracca. This will be a massive test for the Demons who will be facing a genuine Premiership contender. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
