Has anyone watched North this year to see if Birch is worthy of an AA nomination? I wouldn't have thought the ball went into North's defence often enough for them to be getting multiple defenders nominated.

She plays for North. That in itself is worthy of nomination in the AFL's eyes. Anything outside of North is according to them second rate, and if its connected to Melbourne, why even consider them? The AFL's love affair with their favourites and contempt they have for us I don't think they're even trying to hide anymore.

Why would they have contempt for us? We’ve been flying the flag, along with the doggies, for the women’s game for decades.
