AFLW Injury List 2025

Featured Replies

Back to struggling to field a team - that is less than ideal given our draw over the next few weeks.

We desperately need at least three of the top four on that list to play this week.

If Tayla is right to go and Heater, Saraid and Lampy are all Ok this week that's a big jump forward. Then hopefully Blaithin and Georgia G next week and, providing no one else goes down, that's about as good as it will get this year. I'm assuming Beasley won't be back, I don't know if it would be wise to bring her in for finals having basically missed two seasons.

So now probably isn’t a good time to tell you that Goldy collided hard with Ryleigh at training yesterday and ended up with a split on her brow-bone which was “glued” but which saw her unable to attend a function last night.

Ryleigh was sporting a gash and bruise right in the middle of her forehead but said it’s not as bad as it looks.

We now await the injury report 🤞🏽

Do we have employee in the women's program whose job it is to smash mirrors/walk under ladders/encourage black cats to cross their path?

It's now not only about being able to field a competitive side this week, but also a race against time to build some form and match fitness prior to the finals.

Gee would be good to have Goldrick back next week!

I'm not sure if any of the others get in for the final. Colvin probably the best chance if her wrist is up to it,and Molly has been in the team when fit but hasn't set the world on fire.

Can’t see Colvin getting back in. She was dropped before she got injured and she would have to push out Saraid Taylor. Don’t think that will happen

Yes would be great to get Goldie back

No idea about Molly O. Perhaps could come down to match ups?

She did some fitness test activities and then was involved in some of the three quarter field drills and appeared to move well.

She's a chance.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
