yze is untradeable

Bruce has to go. He's been given too many chances and I just don't care for him anymore.

My untouchables are McLean, Rivers, Sylvia, Bate and Davey.

Take anyone else.

Interesting you focused on Bruce as everyone has been below best. considering his year so far he's probably allowed a break,

Yze will be lucky if he is playing anywhere next year.

trade or delist?

trade???? not sure who would want them. yze, brown, godfrey.

delist, ward, brown, godfrey, jamar

bit harsh on godfrey has had a good year till tonight

id say an average year, simply the guy cannot kick! you cannot excel at AFL level with people in your side you cannot hit the target by foot at least 60% of the time.

u put people on the table that will get you something....if a player is shizen for us..i don't think another team is going to take him...

Bruce and Green for me..will get us something..and in 7 years they have not progressed....

if they are leaders..then i am Chairman Mao

your pushing it now jarka...i got my reply off google

Bruce wouldn't have much trade value after getting towelled up by Daniel Jackson. DANIEL JACKSON FFS!!!!

If Bruce isn't fully fit then surely now that even ND must see that the season is shot he must be retsed. If not he must be dropped to get a reality check at Sandy.

My untouchables are McLean, Rivers, Sylvia, Bate and Davey.

Take out Davey and put in Jones and you're just about right.

Bruce and TJ should absolutely be put on the table. Green and Davey are not safe either.

Trading a big name player now, will get us something good. Don't wait till it's too late, the way we did with Yze.

Be tough and you might pull off another Shane Woewodin deal.

I don't care who coaches us next year, as long as they are PROACTIVE.

If they have the balls to put our big name players up on the trading table, then they will also have the balls to shake this team to the core and we will hopefully never see a repeat of tonight.

no trading aaron davey is wrong! very untouchble!! jaded do want to give us a reason why?? not having a go at ya just want to see your opinion thats all mate

Davey is not untouchable (very, very few, if any, are) but is highly unlikely.

He wouldn't be the first on my list, and I would rather keep him, but let's be honest, would you not trade him for Judd?

Here is the problem, Davey is very very very good when he is on, but he has too many off nights. He is yet to impress in finals, he has a very short attention span and can lose his cool far too easily.

I love watching him, and his value goes far behind chases, tackles and goals. He brings in the crowds because he is great entertainment, but winning a premiership will do all that and more.

lol Yze. Be serious as you said urself. He is too old...who would want him now lol.

Bruce must go and TJ. I even think green should go but too much to trade 4. Miller must must must leave. My trades would be:

Bruce + TJ + Miller. U may all think im stupid but TJ is not going to get better and i think we can get a 3rd round pick who could be better than TJ who is fair to say was a dispoointing pick. Bruce is ordinary as is miller

He rarely touches the ball when the heat is on and has been a big disappointment this year.

If he was part of a good trade deal I would not hesitate.

I would fair dinkum stick Wheatley in the leadership group after tonight. At least he bloody talked and steadied Petterd to kick a decent goal after he kicked a Bruce style shocker. Stuff all talking by our fearless leaders (Chook excluded).

then who will crum...although hes not being played there anyway. He plays in the wrong possition. He needs to be forward to allow the ball to be crummed. He cant play midfield

  • PREVIEW: Hawthorn

Hawthorn and Melbourne. Two teams with impressive form from last week but with seasons that are travelling on different trajectories meet in Saturday’s twilight game for what could well be the most intriguing contest of the AFL’s penultimate round. Sadly, the game has been relegated to that unappealing time slot in the weekend when Melburnians are typically preoccupied with activities other than football. It falls between the morning's shopping, afternoon sport and recreation, and Saturday night fever. A time usually reserved for relatively insignificant events but this one is not a nothingburger for either of the clubs or their fans.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
