The obsession with Peter Lawrence is getting ridiculous.

No obsession with Peter Lawrence, never met him, never spoken to him, wouldn't know him if I ran into him...

...but how did we get to this spot.

I'm concerned we don't have a President, CEO and probably coach...let alone still no home base.

Surely the board is responsible for this.

As members a lot were bought the story they sold and here we are.

Decisions need to be made that have long term ramifications but no one in current caretaker positions should be making them.

How do we move forward.

steven smith needs to get to grips with the situation pronto (i'm sure he is behind the scenes)

caretaker coach to try and lift the veil of despondency that has settled on the playing group

make sure new CEO is in situ july / august so he/she can get a sense of the place, maybe even run a proper external review this time.

getting ready for the trade and draft period is the challenge. not sure we can get everyone in and aligned before then

Cmon, the home base problem has been dragging on since 1965, when we were forced to share our home ground with Richmond (thanks to Ray Dunn and the MCC).

Multiple boards over the past 60 years have compounded the problem but the current board is now in a pretty good position to finally solve it with the Caulfield plan

It has been a long running issue...and this board has probably been the closest to getting a result.

It's still not done and then there is the funding which is only getting harder.

Tthey have dropped the ball around club performance.

Things have been allowed to fester.

Another flag out of this group should have been expected but we're a mile off now and the window is closed.

Getting a quality CEO shouldn't have dragged on this long.

External issues have been poorly handled...eye off the ball.

We have an interim President, acting CEO, effectively a caretaker coach & FD boss, still no home base & other issues not in the least our on-field performance.

The writing has been on the wall for a while now, maybe even just before the flag.

Those who voted for the status quo have a bit of thinking to do...

Big decisions need to be made but we don't have a management team in place to make them..

A well run club doesn't end up in this position.

Thanks...

I didn't vote for the status quo, so at the very least this isn't my fault. It could have been worse if my people got in though. Most in the shadow cabinet never are willing to say that.

The Board failed to have a proper succession plan, failed to oversee the executive & the Football Dpt & wasted a lot of time & $$ fighting off reasonable requests by Peter Lawrence.

They were in charge & bear a large portion of responsibility for our current situation.
