How much time did JJ play in the grandie

Is that a leading question?

Only once they moved on,Bedford was a sub for half his games ar the Dee's

Bedford has a combo of elite endurance and speed not being, fact that he was not picked or playing as sub was an early sign that Goody did not understand the way the game had changed.

It doesn’t make any difference.

A grand total of zero.

Awesome to have Goldy back in the side!

But the poster’s comment “concerning” had nothing to do with the W team selections and everything to do with Lily Johnson being dropped which is “concerning” purely because she’s Judd’s partner. 🙄

you mentioned he told you hes signing and going nowhere? that still the case?

curious on others' thoughts on what role pisano will play as she develops?

I think it's the role she's playing at the moment. Just not sure she has the speed or polish to make a difference at the moment. One thing I think Melbourne does pretty well in the women's programme is develop players and help them improve. I hope they can do this with Pisano.

terrible game tonight.

can't help thinking holding off on signing hasn't helped his form

if i was in charge i would be reconsidering 4 year term after that season. he's had a poor 25 injuries notwithstanding

Agreed. I’d take the 4 year offer off the table and give him a standard 2 year deal. He has shown very little progress in his development this year and does not deserve a 4 year extension. he’s a HBF (a dime a dozen) whose defending has gone backwards along with his disposal and decision making.

If this club is serious in its ambitions to turn around our fortunes, we’ve got to get serious in contract negotiations as well.

Lost all his composure, how many times did he just kick it off the ground aimlessly tonight ? Players get injured, his hammy was MONTHS ago, no excuse, 2 years or off you go

I actually didn't mind his game tonight. There were some costly turnovers, but I thought he really bought into the club's approach this week of playing fast at all costs, taking risks, and playing through the centre of the ground. 5 clearances tonight (including 4 from stoppages) indicated that Chaplin gave him a higher role than usual, and I thought there was something to work with.

For one id be blaming the back line coach for his decline and then the midfield coach as well, the lack of pressure from the mids is more of a concern

Watched his game closely. Not sure what the hype is about Juddy. If he stays then great. But we shouldn't be doing stupid 4 or 5 year contracts for this guy. We have too many on our list that disappear after signing a big contract. 2 or 3 year or we get West Coasts 2nd round pick and shake hands.

Soʻ you obviously havent seen the last 2 years when the mfc put him on the most dangerous small forwards,If McVee moves on im afraid well get to see a better version of him and it may come back to bite us.every kid has a second year blues, maybe its the 3rd for McVee

  • AFLW PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The Demons return to Casey Fields (aka the Field of Dreams) this Saturday to host the Saints in Round 2. If you’re feeling lucky, head down the Monash for some family-friendly footy—you might even walk away a winner. The first 5,000 adults through the gate will receive an entry into the $10,000 helicopter ball drop. With Casey’s infamous wind, what could possibly go wrong? Closest ball to the pin wins. So spread the word, get down there—and good luck!

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwin’s summer of love. Many issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.
