My god, why is that description always said like it is a bad thing?

What facts that he has had one good quarter out of 40, jez he must be a superstar then. Taggers are taggers because they have limited skill but high aerobic capacity, look at ours Godfrey, most teams have one and most of the time they go to Trav or Davey. Don't get me wrong as I said Bruce is a good player he just isn't a star or great player.

Bruce has been one of the few who have been consistently good for us this year and should not be criticised for that. He deserves better, but as seems to be always the way around here, we can't help ourselves but to hold our players to some rather unpleasant and massively unrealistic guidelines. And once a player has a bad run of form or has a great game we shove them into one or the other. And then swing like a rusty garden gate if something changes.

Cameron has had a good year in, up until now, a consistently bad side. His disposal does make me want to weep sometimes (and this will have to get ironed out for the future, because he is a better player than that) but regardless he is still a very valuable part of our current list and should be afforded at least some respect (although that concept is lost in regards to some of our players) for the effort he puts in and the way he plays the game - week in, week out.

i admit he played GREAT...... who was the other BOG that night may i ask HOTDOG??

my point is... he has played very little and has done very little....

leave it at that .. im not here to say he wont go and do GREAT things.....

he has certainly done more than 'jackshit.' don't say one thing then whinge about it later. you said he had done jackshit, which i have shown he has done more than. accept you were wrong and move on

jackshit = nothing! hence the expression, thus the reason it is so forceful. he didn't win it on his own, but he certainly did more than 'jackshit'

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals.
