4 more years for our Captain and Vice.

Brilliant leaders, elite players and most importantly amazing people.

Kate Hore was outstanding this year capped off with AA captain honours.

Tyla Hanks is the most pure player in the league.

Delighted that both are onboard for the next 4 years. great news for the club

Excellent.

I was terribly disappointed with the last quarter or so of our women's season after such an incredible early dominance, but I still look to the next season with us being the most likely side to take another premiership.

Knowing we have some absolute top shelf players and characters stable in our leadership is immensely valuable.

She's definitely the best kick in the AFLW. By far and away!

Love this. Looking forward to watching Kate develop further as our captain and to Tyla one day taking the helm. With a bit of upheaval coming, it's good to have steady leaders who you can tell are committed to improving themselves and others.

As an aside, I hope we get similar detail about the contract lengths of all players signed on. With contracts becoming a bit more meaningful and less likely to be thrown out by expansion stuff, it's good to have transparency about it.

Great stuff our 2 best players signing up. Pick 5 is huge for 2 fringe players. A massive get.

Thanks Kate and Tyla and of course MFC great signings, a time of change for our AFLW team, time to lock in your best and regenerate the side.!!

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
