Great goal from Grundy. He has special skills for a guy his size.
I like Moniz Wakefield in the middle. Could that be his role at AFL level?

BG seems to have a long torso but shorter legs which could be the reason he’s so good at ground level. Huge unit though. Seems to cover the ground relatively quickly for a big guy too.

Very obvious free to Grundy not paid. Absolute rubbish.

Adams looking likely. Doing some nice work.

If Schache could be this good at AFL level we’d be laughing.

We’ve only played him 1 game. We really should have given him more given time how much we’ve let JVR coast at AFL level.

There is a reason we are his third AFL club. And he was a top 10 pick.
It’s because he hasn’t been able to perform at the highest level in basically any role, even playing for very good teams.

Jefferson is special. Adams also looks the goods at the other end.

Seston not doing much.

seriously good play and goal from Jefferson

Watching him closely last few weeks I think he’s going to be someone Special in the future

He has his own way of going about the game and continues to surprise each week as his confidence grows

How is Brodie looking up forward?

Just ok.

But could have 4 goals if he kicks better

Not good for mine

gives away free kicks

doesnt lead and has no leap

doesnt convert

you can’t make a silk purse…

He’s a ruckman

Verrell is much better and further ahead of Farris White. Which isn’t surprising.
Verrell looks good. No idea who his opponent is to be fair.

Hibberd being rested this quarter ??

Fair enough too. They obviously just wanted to get a run in his legs after a few weeks off with the kidney injury.
Nothing he can learn at this level. He’s waaaay too good for VFL it’s laughable.

can someone tell Leo to do whatever ............

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
