Remembering Casey have a bye😱. Time to back him in and give him licence to roam far and wide! Get some confidence back.If Rudy Webster was still around I would be paying him a visit!! WARNER on the other hand can just park of, arrogantly declaring when he retires.... DROP HIM!

Numerous posters have commented that what upset them about Kozzie's performance against the Saints was not his lack of impact on the game but the fact that at times he didn't appear to be giving 100 per cent effort. Some of his attempted tackles certainly looked half-hearted and he did a lot of aimless running. He is still relatively inexperienced and I wonder sometimes if he is uncertain of the precise role Goodwin wants him to play. We all know he is a potential matchwinner but lately his game has been below par. If people are worried about possible off-field problems that does not necessarily imply anything unsavoury. Young players can suffer from homesickness, worries about sick relatives or a host of other common issues that can put them off their game. At his best Kozzie is an excitement machine and we all hope he proves that in the coming weeks.

Well said, he could simply be lacking confidence or going through a tough time mentally. Everyone gets it from time to time, personally I think I'm going through it right now. The mind is a strange thing sometimes, can be a situation where the harder you work or try the worse things get or the cruddier you feel. I have no idea what his state of mind is right now but it is possible.

The only real thing you can do is work your way through it, might seem hopeless at times but moments like this can pass. I'm confident we'll see a big game from him shortly and he does usually perform against the Lions.

The definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing and expecting different results. For the team and his sake there needs to be a circuit breaker prior to finals unless we are happy for this to continue for the rest of the season

Sounds weird but I’d love to see Kozzie and bowey swap positions as something left field, even for a quarter.

Every time I see Bowser at training he is slotting them through from all angles , and I’d hate to be a small forward being chased by Koz.

Might give him a new lease on life ala Nick Daicos and be more creative.

It was only a matter of time before the spotlight came on him in the media. Im curious to see what he is really made of and how he reacts to this as no doubt he has been made aware of it.

Thank **** that's over! Well done Kozzy!

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
