My point was that would we really be at a disadvantage like others are saying by playing BBB, TMAC, JvR and Gawndy if trackwatchers reports of JvRs second and third efforts are as intense as they say they are. I haven't seen the kid play so I have no first hand impressions and have to rely on reports from here, I'm asking the question coz I really don't know either way. I don't think that BBB Tmac Fritta and JVR would be too top heavy at all as only BBB is no good at ground level. It's Maxy and Brodie that could be rested and also the others in rotation. Fritta does not need to do second and third efforts a lot as he is a ONE GRAB player on the ground and puts the ball on his boot straight away! lLets see first so we can judge it all in the game time. I think with defensive efforts we wouldn’t be too worse off. Fritsch was looking better this summer, and JVR seems really strong at that. Not sure if he can repeat effort for 4 quarters but early in games he’ll be elite for a tall when pressuring and tackling. But there’s another aspect of why smalls get picked over talls and it’s mobility and fitness to create space in attack as well. Fritter is a good cumber and he’s excellent at creating space by strong leads and off ball running. In that respect and without the need for more aerial support I think the first choice to replace Fritsch would be adding another mid sized player. 1 Quote

A true Dees great. Brilliant footballer. Once Gary had worked out the flight of the ball and leapt in its direction (as he so very often did - enormously successfully), I'd swear that he transferred his 187cms into 227cms such was the height he could generate mid-pack to take the ball in artful majesty. These are my memories, and I am going to stick by them. Thanks, however, for reminding me of his true height. :-) 2 Quote

Mine’s got nothing to do with getting trampled on at training and everything to do with running in platform sandals while drunk at our girls’ Best n fairest. Seriously though, Fritta does have a history of healing well and healing well ahead of time. ❤️💙 Maybe you should change your name to LimpingCivilWar.
