I’d hope it’s Daniel Turner. (Because that might mean that one of Petty or May plays forward - preferably May).

That will never happen NC let's be hopeful Goody etc give Petty the opportunity to spearhead or CHF our attack.

Trent Rivers is a great choice he is going to be a very good player but my choice would have been Sparrow closely followed by James Jordon who needs to take the next step in 2023.!!

Haven't read the article.

Maybe it's assuming that Kozzie has already arrived if it's not him.

I'd say Rivers....but if it's Sparrow I would also gel. See a bit of Tracca in him.

Just read it.....confirmed what I thought.

Had a better season in 21 and a huge part of our flag success. Dropped off a bit last year but will be a star of the fame imho.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
