Brett Bailey still is and was  champion cricketer as well. Aggressive no 4 bat I witnessed one of the greatest innings by anyone when the team was reeling at 5/26 the next wicket fell with the score at 6/196 and he was still not out. Champion bloke, great sportsman😁

Dillon for me . his partnership with Parke was what got me excited in the Dees in the beginning. I have a soft spot for LJ too, a career, like Sean Charles, just wasn't to be.

Thanks for that. Certainly the most exciting to wear number 24 but sadly didn't have a long stint at the club. Freakish talent, great leap, strong hands and lightening reflexes. Thoroughly enjoyed the few games I saw him in at the G.

It is difficult to forget Ross Dillon. He really was a great forward who sprang from nowhere on the field once we straightened him out by snatching him from South Australia. Combined with Greg Parke (the most consistent mark in a very ordinary team), we had some terrific opportunities yet could not muster winning scores - even though these two tended to dominate the play week in and week out. The two of them really cemented my enthusiasm for the Mighty Dees, as well. As for Liam, we needed to take better care of him as a playing member of the Melbourne Football Club - it may well have assisted him to become the longer-term champion he deserved to be - by golly, he had some skills; it would have been wonderful to see him do it all across a 5-year career (at least) to assist a strengthening team hit the bigtime, earlier. I think we all dreamed that of/for Liam.

I once saw he glide down the David Neitz 50 in front of the Members and had no idea where he'd  come( wizard)  from then watched him drop the ball onto someone's chest right  in front of the goals.

Wattsy  spent a career calling for the ball free on the flank but they ignored him.

LJ just appeared and the ball would come along for the ride.

100 games would have been enough for footy immortality. 

Bloody Mark Neeld could bully him into the rehab room but took away his mentor kept him free from the drink.

And people criticise Bails!!
