Hi thereย

I am a disability support worker who works with a young man who has autism. He is sports mad and one of his goals was to get to the MCG for a game but unfortunately we have not been able to due to COVID-19. Iโ€™m looking for 2 tickets anywhere on the ground so I can take him to the GF I know he would love the experience. Am prepared to pay whatever anyone feels is really a reasonable price.. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿคžhoping someone on this forum can help out.. we will paint ourselves blue and red and cheers as loudly as we possibly can to see the dees get over the lineโ€ฆ

Hey ppl could anyone help me out with one priority 1 code so as a true long time Dees supporter/ member Iโ€™m guaranteed not to miss out on a seat for the GF

You joined this site in 2018 looking at the possibility of getting tickets in the event that we made it to the GF and now you post here, once again after tickets to this yearโ€™s GFโ€ฆ not one single post in the intervening period. If you were a regular, or even intermittent contributor, you might have support, but please donโ€™t use this site, and this goes for all of those coming here solely to get ticket links, as a convenience.

Hi all

ย

Hi mate, chasing 2 tickets for me and my son, long time suffering perth based dees fans. Would love to hear back from you

Hi all,

Chasing 4 membership codes for 4 very keen demon supporters. My dad, sister, family friend and myself have been long-term supporters. Itโ€™s been great being able to actually watch the boys twice in person over the last few weeks and would love nothing more than being able to cheer them on in the crowd at the Gf.ย

Anyone know if the club is letting us transfer the GFG to 2022 if we are trapped in Victoria?

Doesnt look like it, either sell it on here or forfeit it.

Wrongโ€ฆ if you are unable to attend due to lockdowns prohibiting you from attending, then youโ€™re entitled to a refund. Also, Iโ€™m pretty certain they will not be carrying the GFG over to next year; they did carry mine and my sonโ€™s over from last year to this year, but I get the feeling that was a one off.

Well t hats what I mean, they aren't allowing you to carry over to nextyear which was the poster question.. Don't see why you would bother requesting a refund when there are numerous people who would kill to go to the GF on here who would happily cover the cost of it.

You actually said "either sell it on here or forfeit it"... that was the statement that I was correcting.ย

Call me paranoid if you like, but the problem with offering it to some total stranger who has just suddenly joined this group with the sole intention of obtaining a ticket, is that there is no way of knowing whether they are genuine or whether they are obtaining numerous codes from the numerous offers here, with the intention of cashing in on them.ย  It would be nice if there was a topic here that people could post in, to state who they had passed codes on to, to discourage any nefarious activity.

Yeah I see your point, I passed mine on but screened who I was giving them to,ย  at the end of the day it's a risk but if you keep your wits about you you can suss those who are genuine from those out to make a buck.

ย

Coming to terms with not being there - P1 and P3 up for grabsย

ย

will throw the p3 in with the P1ย

folks need to remember the guaranteed seat cost a premium paid for over the years .ย

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, weโ€™ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.

Long ago and far away, the Melbourne Football Club replaced its coach in difficult circumstances after the team suffered a devastating loss. In the aftermath, I penned the following words: โ€œThen came the politics, the intrigue, the axing, the sound of the football world laughing at a club, the circling of the media vultures, the reinvention of history, the anger, the irony, the pathos, the hurt on the face of the president, the dignified departure of the coach, and the determination of the newly appointed caretaker.โ€ Today, weโ€™re back in the same place although oneย difference here is that the coach who was terminated this time is Simon Goodwin, the man who four years ago

  • REPORT: West Coast

The Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, opens with, โ€œIt was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, โ€ฆโ€ย  This phrase highlights many of the significant challenges that humanity encounters in life, ranging from experiencing remarkable highs to living in times of despair. This is a concept that should resonate with all supporters of the Melbourne Football Club this morning as they reflect on its comprehensive 83-point victory over the struggling West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. The outcome proved beyond doubt that they are the worst of clubs and that we are the best of the worst.
