Petty looks to have been on limited game time too. He didn’t go back on after 1/2 time

Every chance he's an emergency tomorrow, he has been in the other rounds. They would want them still to be getting some game time

Deakin looks to have rolled his ankle quite badly.  Now walking around the bench loooks ok

Bedford crumbs, hands to M Brown for another goal.

Daw has beed good in the ruck. On top in the centre since that move.

Willy soccer one through back to 11 points.

Strong mark to Willy but the kick misses.

How sad, what bad luck.

Massive mark from Daw in F50. Nails the goal. 16 up, 1.30 left

Daw with a good mark 25m out. Kicks truly.

Casey by 16

Deserves a run in the seniors, does Daw. Useful.

Given both BB and Weid, played less than a half, that they’re still a week or two off senior selection/match fitness...

A win is a win is a win.

I'll provide my view on our players a little later once I get home.

Daw appears more match fit than our returning forwards

He does and can impact games, surprisingly well. I'd have him on the bench as a spare tap ruck, as a backman, as a forward within range.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
