As I posted elsewhere, he's pretty lucky to get another contract given the competition for those mid-sized defensive roles. Hopefully he has spent the last months working on locking down on an opponent.

what competition?

as i have it this is how we lineup for defenders for 2021

Key Defenders: May, Petty, Tomlinson, JSmith

General Def: Lever, Hibberd, Rivers, Salem, Hore, Jetta, Kolodjashnij, Lockhart (A), Nietschke (A?)

in that order, would even play hore ahead of smith as an undersized option

Get Marty fit and out on the track at 190 cm just under 6"3" in old terms he needs to add a couple of kg's of muscle on his frame so that he has the strength to match it with those stronger mid size forwards going around, he is also brave and tough and quite a good mark. I am glad that they kept you Marty Hore.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A player that we missed this year, he should and will be playing over J. Smith.
