Throw Rivers in the deep end and let’s see if he can swim - he was the difference last week!

Just arriving in Launceston, just as wet here as in Melbourne

I genuinely admire your dedication in travelling interstate for a pre season game.

Yes, I agree.

I fear we wouldn't have come home with the 4 points from Arden Street had he not suited up for the game.

Looked good.

I could be wrong, but I don't think rivers swim.  Think they do other things like flow (and maybe provide an environment in which others can swim...)

Sorry!  I will see myself out...!

When do we find out what squad they have taken to Launy? It's a delicate balancing act for this last match because I think they should be seeing this as the last chance dress rehearsal for round 1, so we really should be looking at playing as close to our best 22 as possible.

I expect very shortly.

It's OK mate, at least you're current.  Watching the stream of this match?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
