    So Gawn and Oliver "tie" on 464 votes.  What are the odds of that?  We hardly get brownlow ties in a 1-2-3 system of voting, which is akin to a sprint.  Yet we are supposed to believe that there was a dead-heat in this marathon?  Rigged.  They didn't tie, but the club thought it was convenient that they did.

     

    Frost 9th.  What a joke.  Probably had 464.1 votes until Goody came in with his eraser.  Might have been a triple dead-heat?

    Im struggling to see your point. Even IF what you allege is accurate , and it well might be, you can be damn sure all clubs do that . But your anger seems very directed at our club only. 

    Re Frost,  he clearly divides opinions. Personally I love him and wish we could work around his assets more as they’re very unique. But as coaches and casting votes post game,  how the hell do you rate his brilliance against his deficiencies and how well he gets the job done. I’m sure votes for him are wildly divided also. Do u rate his 6 excellent intercept marks and 5 running bursts from the backline higher than the 5 times he gave up goals thru poor positioning or turnovers. Top 10 finish is about right for frosty imo.

    Frost was good and exciting to watch, but maybe the goals kicked from his turnovers or poor decisions had some impact on his votes

    I suppose the only thing missing from this left-field conspiracy theory is motive.

    Why on earth would anyone want to rig a B&F to ensure a tie?

     

    In fact, it would be in the club's benefit to not have a tie as you can bet that now both Gawn and Oliver will be receiving a little bonus in their contract for winning and Best and Fairest.  Would be much cheaper to have one winner.

      Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season.
