Watching the Ric WC game, I'm disappointed that it looks like N Riewoldt has chosen a media career. His analysis of the game is insiteful and superior to any former player commentator I've listened to. I'd be ecstatic to have him on our coaching panel. His understanding of the difference in game plans and his ability to communicate it is extremely impressive.

Agreed would make a fab game day analyst in the box.  Not only insightful but bloody quick on his feet!

Ess, nth backed up after poor week

Dogs hungry to make the 8...

Melb disintegrated as usual

We are a horrible club that finds an easy out when it’s hard .. culture & leadership non existent.

Coach still thinking about how to play 6,6,6.. oops maybe do match simulations in preseason!

Don't disagree with you, but let's bury 2019

2020 awaits

Hawthorn vs Gold Coast was a bizarre game to watch, it had a ‘Legends Game’ feel about it. Roughy was playing the role of the lone female stuck in the forward line with the opposition making ridiculous mistakes so she can kick a goal. Then came the over the top fawning by the commentators. A truly weird spectacle.

An overweight retired player would be a better target than anyone in our dysfunctional forward line.

You’re probably right, but that has nothing to do with my post.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
