PREGAME: Rd 21 vs Collingwood

Maybe it's just me but I have a good feeling about tomorrow. We are badly due and tbh Pies are in a good spot to spank given their injuries. It would be nice to end the year with at least one win against a big club.

Just getting this sense we will win comfortably.

Wandered over to Gosh's this morning.  Appears training was cancelled.

The rehab squad was out there.

Joel Smith running straight lines with a tracker. Looks strong and has bulked up around the hip area.

Aaron Nietschke and Tom Sparrow walking and running laps.

Jake Lever was doing lots of ball work with two trainers. Appeared to be moving without restrictions.

Training Cancelled?? Just like training camp then... Bit too cold and wet for our guys possibly Hnmm

I went passed on Wednesday but training had been cancelled, then TV interviews happened Thursday, so did they train then? If they did then Friday would be limited  perhaps, although having watched a few Friday sessions, they are no more than a 45 minute stretching exercise with a few kicks on goal. So you could do Thursday and Friday but at this stage why bother?

Methinks Hore comes in for Lever as a late out and this was always what was going to happen.

If Lever does play then I have no idea why Hore wasn't chosen over OMac.

One of many perplexing selection decisions this season.  I realise many are by requirement through injury and niggles that we are unaware of but this one is a cracker.

I am unable to bring myself to watch any MFC games for as long as Goody persists with Oscar from here on.  Just too depressing and all i feel is pitty on the players around him who are mostly up to the contest and the team as a whole.  Today's game is so punishing there is no way of effectively covering off being a player (or half a player) short down back.

I have Hore ranked as our No.1 defender for the year and No.6 ranked player overall.  An amazing first up year for the rookie.

Understandable reasons ...either something isn't quite right with Hore, Goody is preserving his young frame for next season (but if that's the case why risk him at VFL level??)

Maybe there's some other sensible reason we are unaware of.  If not, something has seriously gone haywire within the Fd or with Goody himself.

The problem is there's never been a time in our game where the forwards have received the softest free kicks like this year.

O Mac has to adapt to this if he's to have a future as a defender. Giving away 3 free kicks to Lynch no matter how soft they were, was too many.

Without the frees against, O Mac's performance against Tom Lynch would've been commendable.

Did omac give lynch 3 free kicks?

Or is that a #omacmyth?

Well yes because he had 3 free kick against right next to his name on the stat list. They were also when he was on Lynch.

So you look a bit silly here mate..

Sorry dazzler. I'm confused. Why do I look a bit silly?

Because it's not an #omacmyth, it's a fact.

I'm still confused.  Did you miss my question marks?

And is it a fact that at all three of omac frees were against lynch? I would be surprised but don't know.

But you must be right. Because you said it is a fact.

I'll have a look at AFL pro and check, just to check the facts.
