Glad we signed him up!

Looks in ripper nick. This must have been his first proper pre-season at the club.

Well done Christian

Well done Jack

Something is amiss when Jack Watts gets twice as many votes as our best player in Salem!

Goody obviously not overly impressed

Question is: Did Goody give Jack the votes?

Doubt it

Suspect it was more an 'encouragement' from Hinkley.  Jack played a good game but quite a few played better.

Its hard to imagine that Goodwin valued Watts' game higher than Salem's to whom he gave 1 vote or zero votes.

Why don't we ask SWYL? He knows exactly what votes are given by each coach.....

Great for Christian to get the TOTW nomination.  Well deserved for a stand out performance.  Not easy to stand out in a team that was well beaten all over the ground.  One of his very best games.

Well done Christian for making the team of the week and picking up a vote from the coaches. You busted your gut for the team and you led by example.

You chased down Powell Pepper With Your desperation, caught him and tackled him with force, his face first to the ground he would have felt that.

Evident that you were of a rare few that gave your all for the club and our fans. However you were the one that stood out best of all.

So deserved  and yes you did lead by example.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
