we still did better than the Bombers. no one showed up to represent them!

About Decision No 500 of common sense and good policy from the FD and Club since 2014 sending a replacement when clearly miles in legs and competitive training the order of the day.

Thats why on the very rare occasion we think the Club may get it wrong we can easily live with it with this record of competence.

PS 499 was challenging for Stevie May, at Tribunal but not perhaps the best effort legally I've ever seen.

PS Maxie as always looks the part but he looks shorter than Witts!!

so, we have two captains that haven't attended...what do the conspiracy theorists read into this?

Virtually nothing; it is more important that both Jones and Viney train to advance their readiness for the game against Port - because with our injury list at present, we are going to need those two to work very hard, all game. Max is match ready, and good on him! He will be a good advocate for our Captains, and a pretty boy for the media coverage of such rubbish. 'Carna Dees.

I sometimes think Max would be the best choice for captain anyway - he's the most dominant force we have after all...

Joe Daniher was there because they showed him on sport tonight talking about his calf injurythat will keep him out for numerous weeks which gave me a laugh.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
