I'd go along with both those statements and I certainly was aware that Brisbane had some pretty fair forwards.  Main point I was making is that a dominant midfeild can make a good, forward line look like superstars.

Brown was a genuine superstar, but I'm not sure Lynch and Bradshaw were absolute world beaters.   Hopefully if we look back retrospectively and our forwardline of McDonald, Weid, Pruess/Gawn and Trac/Melksham are held in similar regards. ...although if they have multiple premiership medalians I don't really think anyone will really care so much what anyone thinks of them as individual players.

Lynch and to a lesser extent Bradshaw were guns

Lewis no way will Hunt get a game ahead of Lewis. Guthrie hates Lewis. Got to be extremely doubtful that Joel.Smith will get a game ahead of Hannan and Vandenberg.

We are F'd !

On paper it's probably about 7th.

ANB, Spargo and Weideman aren't names you would associate with dominant forward lines, on paper at least. And Petracca's an inconsistent player.

That being said, if Weideman can kick 35-40 goals and takes up the Hogan slack, then we're laughing.
