I want to see this as the season of payback and revenge week by week. End of story.

When did we last kick 10 straight on someone else's home ground?

i am enjoying the moment. There will be more.

Thanks PJ and Roosy

Unfortunately, I remember when we could barely kick 10 for a game. It was only 25-30 games ago. We should probably have got to 20 goals on Saturday. That's back to Daniher era scoring. So at least 10 years. It's been a while.

What a pack of no confidence merchants.

we will wipe the ground with Carlton next Sunday.

This is not the playing group of 2005 - 2015.

This a new lot with the talent to win a lot of games.

lift your eyes guys the horizon is brilliant.

A changed man. I love it, OD.

I think it's pretty well understood that the real old dee was kidnapped and is locked in a trunk in some psychopath's basement.

Who this new optimistic "old dee" is, no one knows, but he loves Melbourne so we'll have him.

I'm just glad footy is enjoyable again after years of suffering. It's a good feeling we have something to play for and not just trying to keep off the bottom. Go Dee's!

The main problem was we didn't really try very hard to keep off the bottom. Some might say not at all.

Dark days and now the light!

Wouldn't it mean that the psychopath with the basement is the new optimistic OD? ;)

I never get carried away with a win. We haven't won a flag during my entire life, until that happens I will remain pessimistic when it comes to our premiership chances.

I had the lid off the lube half way through the 3rd.

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
