Only played 3 VFLย matches, doesn't qualify for finals. ย

(Is that the question, or were you meaning what happened to his form/injuries? Vague question is vague.)

Thanks, yeah, just wondering why he wasn't selected.

Pedo here with arm in a sling. Post surgery.ย

Not trying to usurp Saty, but Pedo said the surgery went well and he is already on the road to recovery.ย

11.6.72 to 6.5.41

4 goals straight to 1 behind

Scott kicks his 3rd with the goal assist from Weid having some sort of a quarter.ย

Kennedy Harris and Salem will come back in.ย

Sounds like Casey getting right on top?

ย

Scorps playing like the superior team. Outscored Dogsย this qtr, even against the slight breeze.ย

Ball up in our 50 and Spencer to ANB to goal. 5 goals to 2 points this quarter and we are out to a 6 goal lead.ย

Yep - right on top. Hopefully this continues on into the 4th.ย

Great decision to leave Oliver out last week so he can play finals for Casey. Obviously proving very important!

So important for our young guys to get this finals experience and learn how to win under finals pressure. At least that's what my mate Macca said.ย

And at three quarter time the Casey Scorpions lead 12.6.78 to 7.6.48

Goals Scott Weideman 2ย Grimes, McInerneyย Neal-Bullenย Oliverย Terlichย White

Disposalsย Mย Jones 26ย Neal-Bullen 25ย Michie 24ย Oliver 22ย Dunn 17ย Terlich 17

Mitch White'sย reading of the ball in the air has been a highlight for mine today he's been outstanding

Minson is having a good day and he is really the number 1 ruck on the ground. But it is the Weid down forward showing his class in that quarter. We will see what happens in the final quarter. Hopefully another 5 goals this quarter.ย

Oliver prone on the ground in real trouble got one in the head in a pack

Disposals - M. Jones 26 (9 that quarter), Neal-Bullen 25 (10), Michie 24 (10), Oliver 22 (at least 9), Dunn 17, Terlich 17.

Goals - Weideman 3, Scott 3, Grimes, McInerney, Neal-Bullen, Oliver, Terlich, White.

12.6. (78) to 7.6 (48)

Clarrie in trainers hands coming off - took a long time to get up after ? a knock. Didn't see it.ย

The f would he know?! Oli should have played last week... (Not serious)

Thumbs up from Oli - he will be back on. First goal to the dogs. 4 goals in it.ย

ย

Dogs playing well on top so far last qtr.ย

Dogs are wasting opportunities, a goal and 2 behinds this quarter. Dunn with the spoil on the last one. We are struggling to get it out of their 50. Another repeat entry.ย

Weโ€™re back! That was fun. The Mighty Deesโ€™ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commandingย 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
