Probably a reference to Hawthorn. Their jumper still looks like skid marks in yellow jocks.

Makes  me feel like smoking.

Our government is wasting $ to work out this [censored]??? Surely they could just have looked at the hawks and come up with that....

From the article, referring to the upcoming colour being used on cigarette packaging:

The federal government initially referred to the murky hue as ‘‘olive green’’. That was until the Australian Olive Association wrote to Health Minister Nicola Roxon, urging her to stopusing the term because it was denigrating the olive brand.

That article is actually from 2012. I don't think it eventuated from what I've noticed (I don't smoke so I don't really look at the packaging).

Very unappealing colour though.
