I'll tell you one thing. I'd rather someone with personality and flair in a football club than a robot like Jack Grimes.

Jack actually gave us a few minutes of his time after training and was hardly a robot...

Such a great story!

How did we deliver such a schizophrenic thread?

Don't know if the failed psych test is true, but people develop towards adulthood in differing ways. Petracca is certainly maturing into a thoughtful and compassionate young man, good on him..... (but I still want him to be ruthless and super competitive on the footy field)

And to think Petracca failed numerous of Psych tests and put clubs off through his personality LOL

Christian, just a few questions. If you were out on the town, in a restaurant perhaps, would you get so drunk you would abuse someone and then assault them?

No.

Christian, if drug testers paid you a visit, would you swim across a river to escape them?

No.

Would you socialise with bikies who were known criminals and murderers?

No.

If you were with a mate and you were both having amourous relations with two ladies, would you swap partners even if the ladies didn't want to?

No.

Have you ever been found passed out near a casino?

No.

If a school girl was hanging around the club, would you "counsel" her in a hotel room wearing only your undies, with drugs present?

No.

Hmmm ... Look, I'm sorry Christian, but it seems you just don't have the character required to fit in at an AFL football club. We're going to pass on this one. Good luck with your endeavours elsewhere.

Little Lucas waiting at the top of the race as the team came off after their warm up. CP5 went over to say g'day before Lucas handed him a Sherrin. TV camera down there.

Now that should inspire the team

"if it is to be it's up to me..."

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
