I for one aren't quite as happy.

Thought he suited our needs nicely. Still think we need someone with some pace off half back to go with Salem & Lumumba.

Has nominated Adelaide according to The Age.

Which one of Laird and Jaensch does he reckon he will unseat?

Jaensch did his ACL and then was caught drink driving (almost 3 times over the limit) so I would suggest he is far from best 22 at this stage

Players still allowed to nominate clubs lol

Why is there free agency again?

To elaborate (beyond a joke might be a bit harsh but let's remember he is playing AFL) his kicking is like The Princes, an up and under style with the ball often going over teammates heads or falling short or out of bounds. I found myself laughing out loud in disbelief watching him

Hard to play footy if u can't kick it properly

Like Watts I'm interested to see who wants him.

But yeah 5 games for the year and I pick the Crows....

Not really Grimes has been doing it for years.

For those who don't believe me watch his games, only played 5.

Living in Sydney I've watched a lot of GWS games.

Natural competitor - Yes he takes the game on and as someone eluded to he has dash and dare.

Footy smarts - He finds himself in the right places at times, when he has the ball he has the right intentions but see below....

Disposal - His disposal is diabolical, it's that bad it's beyond a joke.

It's a no.

I watched him play in 4 NEAFL games this year and disposal was immaculate. I made observations/comments during these games to others about his beautiful disposal. Granted this was at NEAFL level, but no reason to think it couldn't translate to AFL level as he gains experience.

I haven't seen a lot of GWS at AFL level to comment on his disposal there, but I would imaging the reason for your appraisal is probably due to poor execution under greater pressure at AFL level. I can guarantee you, however, that his fundamental kicking skills are excellent. As he gains more AFL experience, I would expect execution under pressure and decision making to continue to improve.

For the record, I thought he was BOG in 3 of those 4 games and in the best 5 players in the other game. I could not understand how he wasn't playing in their AFL side.

I prefer Hampton to Yarran as an option.
