The Heart of the Demons

good read

Always a good read, i struggle to fathom how he and Wilson even work for the same organization.

He just gets it.

I remember reading Phil Cleary's biography many years ago and he described Martin as someone whose heroes are drawn from the everyday corridors of life, never the great and powerful. This comes across in a lot of his writing (not this piece especially but in a lot of cases).

Jonesy does have a lot of Junior McDonald about him. No nonsense yet measured and respected. We could do with 10 of him.

Brilliant read.

I really enjoyed reading the quotes about Jurrah, we often forget just how much of a loss he's been and it's great to see Jones acknowledge that.

Wonna, Clark, Howe

Jurrah, Dawes, Hogan

Sometimes I dream about this forward line, then wake up andI realise it was just a dream

. if only the fickle fingers of fate had been different. We have certainly found unique ways to dismantle at least half of an A grade forward setup, mostly beyond our control.

Love Flanagan but fail to see the brilliance in the article.

His offering on the Demon supporters resilience a week or so ago was exceptional and a different class to this one.

Fantastic insight

Another article by the very best, about our current best. Both true leaders in their field.
