Why would you change the jumper, I think anyone on Demonland that takes kids to the footy knows its virtually impossible to keep them interested anymore, our club is in major trouble and time to consider Tassie Demons, as long as we get 8 games a season at the G and still trained at AAMI park it's not that bad an option, it's better than folding or winning 2 games a season, what company's want to throw hundreds of thousands at a club that never wins, if we took that option we would be AFL backed for life Christ we could even win a flag one day.

Im not I want a Hawthorn model, we would still play 8 games a season in Melbourne and were not going to survive the way things are travelling, everyone wants success but no one wants to change anything, no one goes to the games but no one wants to give anything up, this club is going to fold unless we try something else, look what it's done for the Hawks, we've lost another generation of supporters we have 4000 less members than the Roos and 9000 less than Port, this clubs on death row, it amazes me that people can't see the opportunities in playing 8 games a season in Tassie, when was the last time the Hawks missed the finals?lets see how PJ goes replacing the sponsors this time around as well. We've been all season without short sponsors if he can replace Opel quickly then he's doing a good job with the way these players are performing.

If it happens and don't think that it mightn't it won't be the end of the world, the AFL will only throw so much before they relocate us, be careful who you put your trust in, I think Hawthorns set up is the best in the AFL, FMD who was the the bright spark that come up with Darwin, the package for the game is about 3,000 bucks, I think Tassie a very probable option for us and I have no doubt it's in the back of AD mind.

Hawthorn have about 12000 members in Tassie and a fantastic association with the state and its been the making of that club, Money means finals Biffen, were just dying a slow death in Melbourne.

If the club is shite, moving to the map of Tassie will not fix the problem.

The market is very finite there.

They are poor and underemployed.

There are two teams there already.

It will not work.

We already [censored] ourselves to Darwin.

It will not happen ever.

mjt, the Tasmanian market is minuscule. The population and economy in Tasmania cannot afford 3 clubs utilising their market. The MFC needs to implement a similar model in a different market. The Darwin govt are sponsors and we make money with each game being played there. The NT has an AFL loving population and Darwin's population exceeds Launceston. In time the Darwin experiment could be as viable as Tasmania is to the Hawks.

The club needs to inovative, not followers trying to topple the Hawks in a market they already own.

If the club is shite, moving to the map of Tassie will not fix the problem.

Its been 49 yrs since they got it correct, you seem to have a lot of faith in the AFL for a bloke that wanted to take them to the Supreme Court 4 months ago, I can't see the problem with 8 games there, Christ you haven't been since round 2, it's served the Hawks well.
