    3AW has a 'rumour file' after 7am each morning. One of the rumours was that a member of Melbourne's coterie group had stated that if Melbourne landed Paul Roos, he'd donate $1M to the club. They said that he has since delivered a cheque for $1M to the club. Anyone able to verify or dispel this?

    I suppose we'll find out when the annual report and financial statements are issued at the end of the year. It's hard to hide $1m in your balance sheet.
