Who cares anymore - Anger subsided

On a positive note the best thing about this round is that we have a BYE.

So u c there are some positives this round and it hasn't even started yet.

I'm still worried about this week, the bye will be fresh and is definitely due for a win.

Nothin different over the last six yrs really.

I've gone from angry, to incredibly sad, to disillusioned and now I'm just numb, which is actually the worst feeling of all.

I used to care so so much, but I try to distance myself from that somewhat. It's a defense mechanism in the face of great failure and heartbreak.

it certainly sux when you reflect and then realise you just dont give much of a stuff anymore. The pain actually retreats to the background because they ( MFC ) just dont figure in the foreground anymore :(

That means the following;

We don't lose

We don't get another one quarter effort

We don't get another horror 3/4 effort

We don't get another arze kicking

We don't have to listen to Neelds after match press conference

We don't need to hear it is what it is, our list is our list, I didn't see that coming, we are training really well, the score board is the last thing which will change.

We could be on the bottom after this round. GWS play Port at home and they are a chance.

Yes the Bye has a better mid field than the MFC.

Also it will end uo higher on the ladder then the MFC (Its never lost a game yet)

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
