Not worthy of a place on this list. This is another example of poor judgement by Neeld.

he clearly pulled out of a marking contest in the middle of the ground, last qtr, as we cleared from defence.. it was a bad kick to him, but had he kept pushing at full speed he would have marked it just as the GC bloke got there, instead he reduced his speed for the last metre or so and just got one hand on it, did not want to take the hit clear as day

him and Bail are both terrible and would not get a game at any other club

That was a disgusting effort. He was in the box seat to take that mark. That sealed his fate in my mind.

I agree he's not worth it, but how exactly is that Neeld's fault?

1. Fumbles as always

2. Clear soft effort in the last quarter

3. Horrible disposal - Kent centred it to him nicely at one stage and he ran free through the middle of the ground and kicked it way past Howe

4. Can't defend to save himself. Despite all the speed in the world he gets turned around time and time again.

No doubt he has fitness and speed to find the ball but if you can't defend or kick it's not worth it. Neeld realised this when he arrived at the club and trialled him forward. It's about time they go back to that plan because he couldn't be worse than Bail.

Yeah not exactly Neeld's fault but why play him if blind freddy can tell he'll never make it. Clisby looks a nice type for Casey could've got him on the main list maybe. But Jetta was available to play today and he does a lot of things Nicholson doesn't. Might not run as hard but that's about it.

To be honest, who on here rated Nicholson as a defender? He doesn't seem to have a feel for football, just another BP 'special'.

Why the current FD rate him as a defender above Jetta, I'll never know. At least Jetta is a footballer, not an athlete!

agreed. Nicho heard footsteps and shirked the contest.

delist ...

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
